GitLab (Self-Managed) Authentication Guide

This guide explains how to authenticate your self-managed GitLab account as a connector in Unizo.

Prerequisites​

  • A self-managed GitLab instance
  • Admin access to your GitLab group or project

Steps to Authenticate​

  1. Go to Connectors

    • In the Unizo Console, navigate to Connectors.

  2. Select GitLab (Self-Managed)

    • Click on the GitLab (Self-Managed) provider from the list.

  3. Start Authentication

    • Click Connect or Authenticate.
    • You will be redirected to your GitLab instance's OAuth consent screen.

  4. Authorize Unizo

    • Review the requested permissions.
    • Click Authorize to grant Unizo access to your projects.

  5. Complete Setup

    • You will be redirected back to Unizo.
    • The connection status should show as Connected.

Troubleshooting​

  • If you encounter issues, ensure you have the necessary permissions on your GitLab instance.
  • Try logging out and logging in again, or contact support if the problem persists.
