How to integrate Qualys account?

Overview

To authenticate with Qualys VMDR, you will need the following information:

• Qualys Platform URL
• Username
• Password

Step 1: Login to Qualys Console

1. Sign in to your Qualys subscription:

   • US Platform 1: https://qualysguard.qualys.com
   • US Platform 2: https://qualysguard.qg2.apps.qualys.com
   • US Platform 3: https://qualysguard.qg3.apps.qualys.com
   • US Platform 4: https://qualysguard.qg4.apps.qualys.com
   • EU Platform 1: https://qualysguard.qualys.eu
   • EU Platform 2: https://qualysguard.qg2.apps.qualys.eu
   • India Platform: https://qualysguard.qg1.apps.qualys.in
   • Canada Platform: https://qualysguard.qg1.apps.qualys.ca
   • Private Cloud: https://<your-pcp-url>

2. Ensure you have appropriate user role:

   • Manager role for full API access
   • Unit Manager for limited API access
   • Scanner for scan operations
   • Reader for read-only access

Step 2: Verify API Access Permissions

1. Navigate to Users → User Management
2. Click on your username
3. Verify API Access is enabled:
   • Look for "API Access" checkbox
   • If not enabled, contact your Qualys administrator

Step 3: Determine Your API Server URL

Your API server URL depends on your platform:

Platform API URLs:

• US Platform 1: https://qualysapi.qualys.com
• US Platform 2: https://qualysapi.qg2.apps.qualys.com
• US Platform 3: https://qualysapi.qg3.apps.qualys.com
• US Platform 4: https://qualysapi.qg4.apps.qualys.com

• EU Platform 2: https://qualysapi.qg2.apps.qualys.eu
• India Platform: https://qualysapi.qg1.apps.qualys.in

• Private Cloud: https://<your-pcp-url>/api/2.0/

Important: Use the API URL that corresponds to your login platform.

Step 4: Get Username and Pasword

1. Username: Your Qualys login username
2. Password: Your Qualys account password
