How to integrate Veracode account?

Overview​

To access Veracode, you will need:

  • API ID and API Key / secret
  • Region-specific base URLs / endpoint domains

Step 1: Log in to Veracode Platform​

  1. Navigate to the correct Veracode console for your region (e.g. analysiscenter.veracode.com for Commercial Region).
  2. Use your credentials (username/email & password), or if your org uses SSO, sign in via SSO.

Step 2: Generate API Credentials (API ID & Key)​

  1. After login, click on the user account dropdown (usually top right) and select API Credentials.
  2. Click Generate API Credentials. This will generate a new pair: API ID and API Key / secret.
  3. Immediately copy/store both the API ID and the secret key to a safe / secure location. Important: after leaving the page, the secret key is not viewable again.
  4. Note: Generating new API credentials revokes any previous credentials (after a short grace period / automatically) and credentials expire (default is one year).
