How to integrate JFrog Xray account?

Overview​

To authenticate with JFrog Xray, you will need:

  • Domain
  • Access Token

Step 1: Log in to JFrog Xray​

  1. Go to https://my.jfrog.com/login/ and Sign in
  2. Ensure you have Administrator or appropriate permissions to create access tokens

Step 2: Get Your Domain​

  1. Your Jfrog Xray domain is the unique part of the URL you use to access Jira. For example:

Step 3: Generate Access Tokens​

  1. Click on Administration in the top navigation bar
  2. In the left sidebar under User Management, select Access Tokens

  1. Click the Generate Token button in the top right corner

  1. Configure your token with the following settings:

    • Description: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., Unizo Integration)
    • Token scope: Select Admin or appropriate scope for your needs
    • User name: Assign a user name for this token
    • Service: Select specific services or check All for full access
    • Expiration time: Set to Never or choose an appropriate expiration period

  2. Click Generate

Step 4: Copy and Store Access Token​

After generation, JFrog will display your access token.

Important:

  • Copy the token immediately - It will only be shown once
  • Store the token securely in a secrets manager
  • If lost, you must generate a new token
