How to integrate PingIdentity[PingOne] account?

Overview

To authenticate with PingIdentity, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • Environment ID

Step 1: Log in to PingIdentity[PingOne]

  1. Go to PingOne Console.
  2. Sign in with your PingOne account.
  3. Select the environment you want to integrate.
    • The environment should have the PingID service configured.
  4. Click Manage Environment.

Step 2: Create a Worker Application

  1. In the left navigation, go to Applications → Applications.
  2. Click + Add Application and choose Worker Application.
  3. Follow the PingOne documentation for creating a worker app.
  4. Once created, open the application details panel:
    • If it doesn’t open automatically, go to Applications → Applications, find your app, and click it.
  5. Enable the application by toggling the switch at the top right.

From the Overview tab:

  • Copy the Client ID and Client Secret
  • Copy the Environment ID

Save these values securely.

Step 3: Configure Application Roles

  1. In your application’s details panel, switch to the Roles tab.
  2. Click Grant Roles.
  3. Search for Identity Data Admin.
  4. Select the environment you want to integrate and click Save.
