How to integrate PingIdentity[PingOne] account?
Overview
To authenticate with PingIdentity, you will need to provide the following information:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Environment ID
Step 1: Log in to PingIdentity[PingOne]
- Go to PingOne Console.
- Sign in with your PingOne account.
- Select the environment you want to integrate.
- The environment should have the PingID service configured.
- Click Manage Environment.
Step 2: Create a Worker Application
- In the left navigation, go to Applications → Applications.
- Click + Add Application and choose Worker Application.
- Follow the PingOne documentation for creating a worker app.
- Once created, open the application details panel:
- If it doesn’t open automatically, go to Applications → Applications, find your app, and click it.
- Enable the application by toggling the switch at the top right.
From the Overview tab:
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret
- Copy the Environment ID
Save these values securely.
Step 3: Configure Application Roles
- In your application’s details panel, switch to the Roles tab.
- Click Grant Roles.
- Search for Identity Data Admin.
- Select the environment you want to integrate and click Save.
